Shopping Circle
Shopping has always been a community activity. Sharing information about products and pricing with friends and family is at the center of making shopping a fun activity instead of feeling it’s every person for them self. SmartShopIt.com helps bring that community atmosphere back by allowing you to create your own Shopping Circle.
As a community site, you can:
- Invite friends and family to join your Shopping Circle
- Accept invitations from others to join their Shopping Circle
- Send and receive messages from people in your Shopping Circle
How to invite people to your Shopping Circle
On your home page, select Invite Friends from the Friends panel. Enter the Member ID or email address of the person you want to invite. Enter any additional text you want sent in the invitation and press submit.
An invitation will be sent to this person. If they are already a SmartShopIt Member, they will receive a message on their Message Panel. If they have notification set up to be notified by email of messages, they will receive an email as well. If they are not a Member and you entered their email address, we will email a special invitation from you.
You can search for Members by entering in all or part of their Member ID and pressing the search icon.
You can view invitations sent under My Sent Invitations. Invitations you have received can be viewed under My Friend Invitations.
(As with any social networking site, your privacy is important. Please use caution accepting invitations from people you don’t know. Please block and report any abusive members to customer support on the Contact Us page.)
